Professional Team of the Faculty of Environmental Engineering is experienced in:
  • Outdoor environment: water supply, sewage systems, water treatment, microbiology, environmental protection (air, soil, water), pollution assessment, risk management, waste management, renewable energy, low-carbon economy, environmental footprint, innovating solutions for environmental engineering.
  • Indoor environment: HVAC systems, indoor air quality, thermal comfort, acoustics, thermovision, district heating systems, domestic hot water and waste water installations, renewable energy, natural gas engineering, energy audits and certification, mathematical statistics, passive and nearly-zero energy solutions for buildings.

Department of Water Supply and Sewerage Systems

Research area:

  • design, build and exploit water supply and sewerage systems
  • design and build such technical objects as: pumping stations, water intakes, storm overflows
  • model using mathematical methods work of water supply and sewerage systems
  • renovate and modernize water supply and sewerage systems using trenchless technology, e.g. microtunneling and control jacking

Department of Air-Conditioning, Heating, Gas Engineering and Air Protection

Research area:
